Rural Reflections
Marion County Museum. 843-423-8299. During the month of April artist Glenn Hayes will have his original oil paintings displayed throughout the museum. His works include many fine pieces from around the Pee Dee area. Some of his work will be on sale.

Frogmore Fest
Historic Marion's Frogmore Fest will be at the old Coke Bottling Plant on Bobby Gerald Parkway. The morning events include the city's Farmers Market and Market place with fresh seasonal vegetables and local crafters and artists sell their wares. At 5pm the Frogmore dinner begins with live musicians. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the HMRA office (843-423-9918)

Celebrating Francis Marion Days
Weekend lon celebration of Marion's namesake Gen. Francis Marion. Events include a road race, re-enactors camped on the Courthose square with heritage crafts and period demonstrations going on throughout the weekend. For a detailed list of events go to www.marionsc.gov
